Second year presented many challenges. After losing my dog Tito after just 2 years, I adopted a puppy named Ryker all while completing second year medical school courses! My family and friends are what made it all possible!

I had the opportunity to be on the board of a few clubs like the Association of Women’s Surgeons and SUN Program, a club I helped start last year!

I went on hikes, snowboarded and made new friends doing research too!
